We realize that you are very busy with your daily lives and with completing your educational endeavors. Our mission is to assist you in having a smooth transition from student to graduate. We are excited about your pending academic progression. Our mission is to provide you with informative and updated information as you reach your goal of graduation. As a result of this Division of Continuing Studies Blog, you can access graduation information Anytime, Anyplace, and Anywhere. Feel free to utilize this blog to communicate with your fellow classmates and advisors. Your advisors are an email or phone call away. Academic Regalia - Convocation & Commencement
Dear Prospective Graduate:
This letter is to inform you of upcoming events for the Class of 2012 and the services and opportunities available for you. The graduation items and services that will be available include the following:
Caps & Gowns must be picked up during the following dates and times for September 25, 2011 Convocation. Jostens representatives will be available to assist you on these dates. You will take your Convocation cap, gown and tassel with you. All items except the hood are worn for the Convocation ceremony. You will pick up your hood and degree-colored tassel in March 2012 for commencement in the spring. The cost for Convocation and Commencement regalia is as follows:
OPENING CONVOCATION
Bachelor cap, gown, black tassel $25.50
Master cap, gown, black tassel $27.50
Doctor cap, gown, black tassel $32.50
COMMENCEMENT 2012
Bachelor hood, zipper pull and degree-colored tassel $25.50
Master hood, zipper pull and degree-colored tassel $27.50
Doctor hood, zipper pull and degree-colored tassel $32.50
The above items will be charged to your student account when you pick the items up. The information you will need to provide is the following: Student ID #, your height, your weight and your degree (Bachelor, Master, Doctor, etc.). Caps are all “one size fits all”.
